Just a Note

I have a lot of Google Alerts set up for my books, so often receive notifications about them being mentioned around the internet. Today, I received 3 for Arcane Solutions for a post where a reader was asking where s/he could download it for free, because it wasn’t available at their preferred vendor, Apple.

Arcane Solutions IS available at Apple, through the iTunes store. It has been available there since its release in January 2012, aside from a 2 week period at the start of last June, when I was switching from Smashwords to Draft2Digital for distribution to the other non-Amazon retailers.

So, if you prefer to buy from Apple/iBooks/iTunes, click here to find Arcane Solutions, and thank you for your support! 🙂

P.S. You can check for other retailers on its page here.

Cover Reveal: Black Magic Shadows

Black Magic Shadows (Discord Jones #5):

Her long-dreaded date with Thorandryll complicates Discord Jones’ final case of the year: locating a stolen magic mirror. While searching, Discord discovers a secret battle raging beneath the quiet surface of Santo Trueno, one which could change it forever.

Discord’s efforts to oust her unwelcome visitor only emphasizes how far down the supe-world rabbit hole she’s fallen. The struggle to understand how the past year’s events will impact her future begins as she accepts a new bond—with the gargoyles.

Quick Note

I haven’t been updating here often, and there’s a reason for that: I’m writing!

Well, writing while a home improvement project is going on (that happens a lot), and with my friend and editor, Tonya, about to arrive next week for her second annual visit.

Last October, we didn’t get much work done because we were too busy yapping a lot. It was our first face-to-face, non-internet meeting after all. 🙂

This time, I have the Writing Deck and we plan to get some word production done.

The current schedule for Book #4, Frost & Bothered, is an Oct. 31st release.

Here’s a tiny excerpt:

“I don’t cast spells,” I pointed out. I didn’t. I just kind of directed and manipulated my kinetic abilities’ powers to do what I wanted.

With varying degrees of success, but oh well.

“I pray for you at times,” the prince said. “I pray that you’ll survive your youthful arrogance.”

“Gee, thanks ever so much. Don’t think I don’t know that’s a fancy way of calling me an idiot, you jerk.”

“He may be right.” Kate rubbed her arms. She was wearing a lilac nightgown. At least I wasn’t the only one in pajamas.

“I am right.”

“And I’m going to try this anyway, because I’m freaking cold,” I said. “So shut up, Prince Snootypants.”

“I’m merely attempting to save you pain,” Thorandryll snapped. “Proceed if you wish. I await the opportunity to say ‘I told you so’ with an unseemly amount of glee.”

“Stuff it.” Okay, I was going to do this just to make him eat crow.
